Green Houndstooth, Pink Trousers.

Funny how I have had so much pink in my outfits lately because it’s really not one of my favorite colors, I guess I must be subconsciously having a change of heart about it. If I am going to wear pink it seems I have to pair it with some shade of green (see recent post here) it’s a pretty fool-proof color combo, any shade of either color will work together. I was very drawn to this green houndstooth sweater vest as it’s not common to see houndstooth in anything other than black and white, it definitely has a vintage feel to it. Sweater vests have made a bit of a comeback this year, I love their versatility and layering effect. I have linked a bunch of my favorite oversized ones below.

Can’t believe we’ve already knocked an entire month off of 2021 which also means we’re almost at a year since Covid totally derailed all of our lives.  The pandemic fatigue has firmly set in however we continue to be careful by only seeing a handful of friends and always stay outdoors when visiting. Although restaurants are open again for outdoor dining for now we’re sticking to take out. Just taking it day by day and hope the vaccine does what we all hope it will!
