Even though I fully lived through the 90’s and rocked all the trends, like these high waist denim shorts, the first time around I’m not mad that they’re back again. Bodysuits were also a big trend back then I believe it was Donna Karen who really put them on the map designing them for the working girls wardrobe. Donna had a knack for turning button down shirts, turtlenecks and even camisoles into a bodysuit. I’m not a huge fan of the difficulties a bodysuit creates when one has to visit the ladies room, however they do keep everything in place and there’s a lot less fussing and tucking things in. Im loving the glamour of this tulle ruffled bodysuit from Zara, I couldn’t find this exact one but I linked another that I love just as much. It’s a piece that can be worn with jeans or would also look great dressed up with a midi skirt. Speaking of getting dressed up; after many months of sweatpants, cut off shorts or just staying in my PJ’s I have really been making an effort to put myself together on the odd occasion that I get out for dinner with friends. These shorts are great for dressing up like I did here or dressed down with a band tee, they’re from Shopbop and I have them linked below.
So much going on in the world and right now my big concern (among many others) is the lack of funding for The United States Postal Service. The daily mail is not something we can do without, so many people rely on it for paychecks, medication and yes even getting clothes delivered. I read something that I wanted to share because we can help: If half of American adults bought a sheet of stamps ($11) it would raise 1.5 Billion USD helping keep them afloat at least for a little while. If you can afford to do this I really hope you do, My hubs and I bought our stamps today!
Happy Monday to you and thanks for popping in!
