I lived in overalls in the 90’s and never thought I would revisit this trend that I admittedly over-wore. I travelled through Europe in those same overalls and dressed them up and down as best as I could with the limited amount of clothing I could fit into my backpack. I love that this pair, fitted and distressed, can look very stylish with a leopard coat and some sock booties but still feel totally relaxed and casual. Relaxed and casual are definitely adjectives that describe how I want to be dressed all the time this time of year, after weeks of getting dressed up for holiday events, parties and get togethers I just want to live in denim and comfy sweaters. Having an easy bag when staying casual is mandatory this tote from Saddleback Leather is so beautifully crafted and can handle any environment. I took it to the beach last weekend and hauled it around while Christmas shopping, its even elegant enough to wear out to dinner. Im looking forward to seeing how this incredible leather ages and develops well worn character!
If you don’t live in LA or been following the news then you don’t know that we just had two days of intense monsoon style rains! My heart goes out to those living in Montecito who have been hit with mud slides shortly after massive fires. We definitely needed the rain and its a beautiful sun-shiny day today, I can’t wait to go out and breathe in that fresh crisp air! Happy Hump Day Y’all, xo ~Zia

YOu really can never go wrong with leopard prints, it goes well with almost everything. Whether you want to be girly girl, edgy, or casual like this overall. I think the black heeled boots are just perfect for the stripe and leopard patterned top.
