Puff Sleeves, Orange Clutch & Striped Maxi.

We’ve been having a major heat wave here in Los Angeles this week which is typical for this time of year but in spite of the weather, fall style is definitely happening in a major way. I think I can speak for most of my fellow LA fashion lovers that we are willing to suffer a little (in the form of overheating) to wear our favorite fall styles. Both these pieces Im wearing in this look are made from fairly light fabrics so the suffering is minimal. Puff sleeves are such a huge trend this fall, it’s a dramatic detail and can either look very Joan Collins from her Dynasty days or a little bit Disney princess depending on how you put it together, I think I’m channeling Joan more than Snow White here. You know I love the pop of color and this Lisi Lerch orange clutch has been the piece I reach for ever since I got it, it fits so much inside and its totally seasonally appropriate. Another accessories designer I’ve been crazy for lately is Lilou Paris. I was introduced to them during fashion week last month and cant get enough of all the brushed gold pieces I wear these gorgeous disk drop earrings every chance I get. Unfortunately you cant really see my Lilou rings in these photos but I wear them daily one is an X the other is an O I will be sure to get some close ups for you soon!

It’s been a grueling week but fortunately it’s been going really fast! I have had constant events, meetings and yesterday I even had an appearance on NBC’s CA Live modelling sunglasses for Dita Eyewear. A quick clip is still up on my Stories but here’s the link you can watch the whole thing!
