Red Crop Top, Wide Leg Pants.

I have somehow managed to get almost all my favorite summer trends into one outfit without looking like a fashion-victim-tourist-vacationing-in-Capri. Ive got the red crop top (with ruffles) floral print wide leg pants and straw hat & bag: check, check, double check! Oh and the oversized cat-eye sunglasses pay homage to the queen of perfect Euro vacay style Jackie O.  But lets get back to how cute this red crop top from Storets is. Im not in any way being compensated by them to say this Im just all about giving credit where its due and they really kill it in the cute, super unique top department and in case you’re interested they happen to be having a massive sale right now.

I find it really difficult and uninspiring to get dressed in the extreme heat which we have been experiencing for over a month now.  I love light fabrics and anything that flows around you and these floral pants hit both those marks. They also happen to be leg lengthening which is always a bonus, so these babies will be on repeat until this heat wave ends (prob around November?)

I have been trying to adjust to my son’s earlier school schedule this week and it has not been easy. His elementary was right across the street from us but now that he’s in middle school we have to drive. I am not a morning person by any stretch so waking up at 6:45ish every day is not something I ever thought Id have to do. Im trying to see the benefits of being up so early like going to gym right after drop off, running errands when all the stores are still empty.  Ill keep you posted on how my attempt at optimism goes… in the meantime Happy Thursday and enjoy some of  the last of our summer weekends! xo ~Zia
