I have not stopped thinking about ski style since we hit the slopes last weekend. Truth be told the local ski resorts here are a little beginner for my taste but Im absolutely not complaining – we are so fortunate that in Southern California we have anywhere to ski within a two hour drive. Growing up in Canada we would ski every single weekend of the season so we invested in good quality ski wear but since I’m lucky to get to the snow two or three times a year I’m not so quick to spend a lot of money on ski attire. I have a few things here that are wishlist only and others I am seriously considering adding to my collection. Good goggles are non negotiable although I find myself wearing sunglasses most of the time because my current goggles aren’t dark enough for my sun/snow sensitive blue eyes. I love the idea of the faux leather ski pants and good fanny pack is a necessity for phone, sunscreen and lip gloss. Even if you’re not into snow sports who doesn’t love the Aprés ski? Sipping vin chaud in the lodge by the fire – you need good ski style for that too!
