For me, the best thing about summer style is all the fun accessories: Giant hats, straw bags, statement earrings and armloads of bangles. When you’re all bundled up in winter wear its much too difficult to wear so many accessories so summer is the time to do it. This spicy one shoulder red dress didn’t need a lot of accessorizing but it doesn’t feel at all overloaded with all the matching straw, raffia and linen I added. I’ve been into dresses more this summer than I even have been in my life, Im typically more of a separates girl because of the versatility and they are not as identifiable ie caught wearing the same thing over and over! Dresses always look polished and are easy but I always have to put my mark on them with great accessories.
I made it through the first week back at school, obviously I’m not back at school but having my son in school greatly affects my schedule as in I have to wake up early again. I am not a morning person whatsoever but getting up early gives me more time to be productive and it makes me appreciate weekends so much more. We are embarking on another house project so this weekend is not going to be particularly relaxing but I can’t wait for the refresh, I will be creating a video for Youtube so I wont give away too much right now!
