Striped Off The Shoulder Top:

Put me in a striped off the shoulder top and my happiness quotient goes up exponentially, these vertical multi colored stripes are making me especially happy! I just got back from a soul rejuvenating trip to Canada and I thought it would be apropos to wear one of my favorite Canadian fashion lines, California Moonrise. All of their pieces have a free spirited feel which work perfectly for summer when its too hot to think about what to wear but always want to look cute! That being said Im just about ready to make the switch over to fall fashion! My boy went back to school yesterday and Im gearing up for fashion week which has me dreaming of layers and booties and coats! Its not going to happen here in scorching LA anytime soon but a girl can dream!

Im having a super hard time readjusting to being back home.  I think its a combination of the bad air quality, early mornings (taking my son to school) and also we just had to put our beloved kitty down this weekend. She had a terrible disease that progressed so quickly and rendered her blind at the end. She had a fabulous life and was almost 16 ( had the energy and beauty of a kitten)  she is terribly missed by us all!
