With a triple digit temperature weekend getaway behind me summer is definitely in full force and this thigh high slit skirt is the perfect piece to kick it all off. This skirt is definitely not for the faint of heart, its a very risque piece as the slit nearly reaches the top of the thigh but I am nothing if not a fan of extreme fashion choices. I didn’t feel like I was at risk of overexposure when I wore this higher than thigh high slit skirt – but it can feel as though you might show more than you may want to particularly if you are in a wind tunnel which I was when shooting this look. I like the idea of making this denim maxi skirt a more casual piece with a sneaker or flat slide and maybe with a one piece swimsuit on top. However you choose to wear it, it’s a show stopping, fun summer piece!
Im a major fan of the tube top as you may recall I lived in them last summer (see here & here) and I don’t foresee giving them up anytime soon I love the abstract stripes on this one and plan to dress it up and down all summer.
