I never realized how much I actually liked 90s style until I started piecing together looks that I know I wore some variation of during the actual 90s. This oversized tweed blazer has almost the exact same dimensions as a black Club Monaco blazer that I wore endlessly during the last decade of the past century. I still have that blazer and have pulled it out a few times recently. It’s amazing how fashion really does makes its way back around and Im so glad I have some high quality pieces that have stood the test of time. The sleeveless turtleneck Im wearing is another vintage piece from the 90’s that Ive hung on to and wear every year because its an absolute classic. I also had an exact replica of this black mini skirt many moons ago – little thigh slit and all. The baseball cap and platform boots also are nods to the era of all black casual chic although I think I wore my Kangol beret (Sam Jackson style) more often than a sports cap. I promise Im not completely straying away the colorful fashion that you have become accustomed to seeing here, but I always love giving something different a try.
We had a rainy weekend so it was pretty low key one for me. The highlight was watching the second to last episode of The White Lotus which Im am absolutely obsessed with. The first season was good but this season, which takes place in Sicily, is soooooo unbelievably good! If you’re a watcher let me know if you have any thoughts on who the dead body is!
Happy Monday lovelies – Ill be back Wednesday with a big announcement and party outfit ideas later in the week!
