I feel like it’s fairly safe to assume we all aspire to achieve that French girl style – this little black and white tweed suit from Chloe Colette along with the loafers and socks makes me feel like I should be strolling along the Seine with a baguette and bottle of wine. This is another one of those outfits that can easily go from the office or meeting to a night out with the girls with the switch of the footwear and different tops under the jacket. I love the idea of a sleek black turtleneck or classic white button down shirt for a work environment and maybe a lace camisole with some knee high boots for a dinner with your favorite person. Some may think the ankle socks with a short skirt might be reserved for girls of school age but you must know by now how I feel about fashion rules. True story: after this photo shoot my photographer and I were driving through downtown Los Angeles and saw a very chic lady wearing a black maxi skirt and red ankle socks with loafers see my take on that look here.
Anyone else counting down the days until daylight savings starts up again? I’m so over the short days, I feel like I can get enough done before the sun goes down. I think we’re still three weeks out but getting close! Happy Friday lovelies xo Zia
