Red Socks, Black Mini, Cashmere.

Its truly difficult to believe that were in the year 2024 I am however thrilled to be starting fresh with a New Year and a mental clean slate. I never anticipated this holiday season would be so exhausting. Additionally I had no idea I would be taking such a long break from posting which by no means is an indication that I haven’t been insanely busy catching up and creating content. What’s typically a slow time this year is starting with a major bang I have several campaigns and three trips lined up already.

I posted this look before Christmas and even added it to my favorite looks of 2023 (see here). I am a huge fan of socks and heels and couldn’t resist jumping on the red hosiery trend, I love that it gave this otherwise neutral look a little festive vibe even though I maintain red isn’t only for the holidays.

I think everyone should have a classic camel sweater in their closet. I love this one with the gold chain for a little extra something from 27 Miles Malibu – which if you read this post you’ll know their cashmere is all sustainably sourced and often recycled. I’m definitely trying to be even more mindful of brands I promote the more I learn about environmentally unsafe, and unfair practices in the textile world.
