White Linen Pants, Striped Shirt.

White linen pants are a must in any summer wardrobe and even though summer is almost over you might want to grab a pair – I searched high and low to find the perfect ones, these are from Zara but I linked identical ones below. These fit so well (read: not too long) and are comfy like sweatpants – I definitely see myself wearing them with sneakers and a sweater in the cooler months for a chic casual errand or lunch look.

The bow on this shirt is meant to be tied in the back but I like the way it looks in the front for a knotted at the waist look, I know it’s a little haphazard but I like the casual summer strolling off the beach vibes it gives. I somehow acquired several blue and white striped shirts this season (see here) and I have another look coming that also has a light blue striped button down. It’s a classic style so I’m not worried – Never enough of a good thing right?

So I’m sure you heard that we got hit with the tailend of a hurricane (as well as an earthquake) this past weekend and for this reason I had to cancel my scheduled photo shoot and therefore missed posting earlier this week – but good things come to those who wait, I think I have some amazing late summer easing into fall looks coming your way… Have a great weekend its one of the last of the summer! xoxo ~Zia
