After six weeks of lockdown wearing head to toe stripes seems all too appropriate wouldn’t you say? Oh and the bars behind me contribute to the vibe even more. You know I love stripes so I’m totally kidding! But all jokes aside I love the look of mixing and matching similar prints like with these shorts with the red stripes paired with a similar yellow stripe pattern. It’s kind of a fool proof way to mix prints if you use the same print in different colors. The weather in LA is finally feeling normal (read: it’s hot) which makes life feel a little more normal. Wearing little bandeau tops with shorts is a daily uniform for me in normal times and on the days I get out of my sweats during this era of self isolation this one from ASOS is under $10 and can be worn under dresses, tanks, blazers or on its own!
I hope you all took a moment to observe Earth Day yesterday and think about what you can do to help protect our planet. If we all do something small with 8 billion of us it will make a huge difference. I don’t eat meat but for those of you who do cutting back on meat consumption even a couple days per week can have a massive impact on the planet. Picking up trash, recycling, composting, riding your bike… all these things can help keep Mother Earth safe and happy and make this place a better place for all of us to live in!
Hope you’re all staying healthy and well! Sending hugs, xoxo ~Zia
