Zebra Stripes, Peter Pan Collar.

We are somewhere between autumn and winter although seasons don’t really make much of a difference here in Southern California. It is, however, chilly enough today to be wearing a sweater and drinking tea and if you’re going to wear a sweater it may as well be cashmere like this super soft crew neck in cobalt blue. Although this sweater packs a punch on its own I love the drama of the Peter Pan collar. I’ve always been a fan of the look of a collar peeking out from under a sweater but this extra large Peter Pan collar is doing more than peeking. This is a pretty big trend out there that I immediately knew I had to be a part of. If you are a fan of the Netflix series The Crown you might have noticed, like I did, that Princess Di rocked this trend regularly back in the early eighties so I feel like I’m in pretty good company.

So we are back on stay at home orders and today my hair appointment was cancelled as well as an in store shopping event I had lined up for mid week. We do have travel plans lined up for Christmas and were getting increasingly concerned that they may also soon be cancelled, keeping my fingers crossed very tight! Hope you had a great weekend and are staying well, I’m trying to stay as optimistic as possible while we await the roll out of vaccines which will hopefully get us back to normal very soon!
