Barbie Pink Suit, Fashion Week Style.

It was another whirlwind trip to New York City for fashion week – although its still not back to what it was pre-pandemic.  NYC is such an energizing city and you cant help but always be on the go, with or without a million fashion shows, presentations and events to attend.

This Barbie-core pink suit from Milly is probably my favorite look from the week and I wanted to show it with socks and loafers, which is how I wore it when putting in my steps getting around town, as well as with the platform heels giving it a major 90’s vibe. The pink blazer definitely put in overtime on my trip and will continue to over the next few months because it really does elevate any look.  I was in good company as pink was no doubt a big trend that I continued to see while in New York – the other very noticeable one is feathers! Feathers were absolutely everywhere at fashion week; lots of crop tops (see my summer feather looks here & here) and blazers or pants cuffed with a ring of plumage. Im definitely on the hunt for a feather cuff blazer, I’ll keep you posted on what I find.
