Black Bubble Skirt, Striped Top.

The bubble skirt trend is something I dipped my toe into last summer (see here) and decided I loved it so much I’m going all in this summer. I started out with the bubble shorts a couple months back (see here) and when I found this black bubble skirt with an underlining that hugs tight to prevent any mishaps I knew this would be my go to summer skirt. I actually do love how short they are – it really gives you a leggy look without looking trashy. I wanted that French girl summer chic vibe so topped it off with the sleeveless striped top and super walkable cap toe pumps.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend – I went to a fabulous rooftop brand party on Friday night so the summer really feels like it has kicked in and we of course celebrated Father’s Day yesterday, kept it low key and sent my hubs for a facial/massage and made his favorite dinner: mushroom risotto. I dont think I have mentioned it yet but we are going on our big summer trip next week so I am starting to work on getting outfits ready, I drop hints later this week! Happy Mondya lovelies ~ Zia xo
