Yellow is such a huge color for summer, butter yellow in particular, but I was drawn to this spicier shade and grabbed this well priced mustard halter top from Zara. I paired it with an oldie but goodie white denim skirt from a few summers back (see here) and seeing it styled like this I know Ill also be wearing it with white linen pants for a breezier look. I was so happy to finally find the perfect outfit for these raffia, block heel sandals from Linea Paolo’s summer collection. They’re so comfortable and I love the vintage vibe, they remind me of a pair of sandals my mama wore when I was a child. Gold accessories and sleek green tinted sunnies complete the look – I feel like Im ready for that European vacation that Im not taking this year!
I may not be heading overseas this summer but I am, however, going on a caribbean cruise next week and am very excited about A- trying out a new cruise line and B- getting some major R&R. Im starting to put together my outfits for the trip and although I am planning a lot of glam looks for evenings I also want to comfortable so I am putting shoe inserts into all my sneakers (or other closed toed shoes) I plan on lots of sightseeing and a game of pickleball or two and insoles not only saves your feet from the pain of walking but it’s great for your lower back. I actually look forward to slipping my feet into shoes with my Currex insoles – and that being said Im off to take the dogs for a walk before my much needed hair appointment!
Have a fabulous weekend friends ~ Zia xoxo
