We are living through some very difficult times right now and finding ways to keep positive has not been easy. This beautiful black floral skirt (also seen here) paired with this perfect one shoulder top and bouquet of bright blooms makes me so happy! As you may have noticed I did not post here or on my social channels last week except to speak out against racism. In an act of solidarity with my fellow influencers that are not black we chose to stay muted and amplify our friends of color. There are so many ways we can continue to make a difference and end racism in this country, there are petitions to sign and funds to donate to and of course educating yourself, your neighbors and family members is most important. I also wanted to point out that shopping brands that are inclusive of using different races in their campaigns or are black owned are a great way to support people of color. cabi Clothing the brand behind this fabulous floral skirt always uses models of color and they also raise money through their foundation to build schools to educate children in Rwanda. I’m hoping we can start this week with a positive outlook on the future while we continue to social distance because in spite of not being in the news much lately Covid 19 is still very much with us. In fact numbers are going up in most states after Memorial Day festivities and I’m sure with all the close contact during the protests we’ll see them go up even more. Stay safe my friends!
