The silver, gold (or any metallic) jean trend is not going away anytime soon so when I saw this pair of blue metallic jeans at Karen Millen it was an immediate yes! In all honesty I wish I would have sized down in these jeans, I would have preferred them to be a bit more snug (and shorter). They do have quite a bit of stretch and they are on the thicker side so they look a bit bulky on me but they are comfortable and worked great during the holidays when I was consuming more than usual. I knew I had to pair the pants with these super cute silver slingbacks from Linea Paolo – great for adding polish to a casual outfit, and in keeping with the blue theme I threw on my favorite vintage find of all time: this slate grey/blue Claude Montana trench coat. It’s such a classic piece and an amazing score. I walked into an Out of the Closet one day and got this trench coat, a Moschino cropped blazer, which I now regret selling on Ebay, and a few other less notable pieces but I think I spent less than $50 – I absolutely love a good thrift find and I’m thrilled my son is into scouring vintage and thrift shops for cool finds!
Thanks for popping in lovelies and Happy Hump Day! xoxo Zia
