Crochet Dress, Denim Jacket.

Becoming a mother certainly changed how I dressed on a day to day basis. The beginning was particularly difficult when just finding time to take a shower was a struggle, so forget about putting a cute outfit together. I gained 50 pounds while pregnant which on my 5’4 frame was a lot. My baby was almost 10 lbs so I lost a most of it really fast but you still don’t feel your best for quite a while after. I remember when just going to the grocery store was a big deal and I tried desperately to look presentable in case I ran into someone I know. Finding stylish mom appropriate clothes was not easy nine years ago, and when I say “mom appropriate” I don’t mean frumpy and boring, I mean stuff you can function in, move freely and not worry about ruining with baby puke. I wish I knew about PinkBlush back then I would have been a much cuter pregnant lady! I love how their maternity wear easily translates into post maternity wear which is where I had trouble because I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on clothes I could only fit into for a few weeks.
