Cropped Sweater, Metallic Boots.

I’m loving how shades of brown have made such a comeback this season – I grabbed this cropped sweater in this highly underrated color from The Drop on Amazon so you know its budget friendly. I love the classic cable knit style and it hits at such a perfect length so you can show off a great belt. I’ve had these vegan leather shorts for a few seasons now (see here) and get so much wear out of them I just bought another pair in a different, very fun color (post coming soon) I do want to point out my one issue with brown is it’s a very difficult color to match with other browns, for some reason they just are never the same!

To say these gold boots are getting a lot of wear would be a major understatement- they really elevate any look and the lower, flared heel makes these boots easy to walk in. I just shot another look with them yesterday and also wore them here in case you missed this post. I had no idea I needed gold boots in my wardrobe so badly!

For those of you who do not reside in Southern California you may not know we have been having quite the winter storm rolling through here. The wind on Friday night took down so many trees and knocked out power, its been colder than I have ever experienced since Ive been living here. We had a brief respite from the rain yesterday so I was able to get out and shoot some fresh looks – but the rain is back today!
