Striped Maxi, Silk Bomber.

I have a vintage bomber jacket that I love so much but it’s just not summer appropriate. I was so excited to get this silk one from Yummie, it’s the perfect chilly evening topper for any summer dress including this super flattering striped maxi, the stripes are strategically angled in directions that make all your assets look amazing!

If you have read my bio you know that I’m an actor. You may not know that one of my most treasured experiences as an actor was booking a role in Princess Diaries 2. I spent two days on set working with some of the most amazing crew and talented actors (my scene was with Anne Hathaway) but working with Garry Marshall who I had known for years before (he auditioned me for several of his films) was a phenomenal experience. He was an actor’s director: meaning he let’s the actor do what he hired them to do but with his amazing guidance. My heart broke last night when I heard he passed away. I saw him this last holiday season and I will never forget him making his way across the restaurant we were eating at to come give me a hug! I will miss seeing his big toothy smile around the neighborhood but will never forget his kindness and generosity. xoxo ~Zia
