Striped Pencil Skirt, Black Tube Top.

I want to get right to it by saying this striped pencil skirt is so *BLEEPING* good and so well priced you need to click the link below and grab one while you can. It’s truly the ultimate summer day to night piece. I wore it to my son’s basketball game with a tank top and my Dr Marten slides and then for dinner the same night I wore it pretty much like the photos in this post  and got compliments all along the way (even when I popped into CVS for some essentials) Its lightweight so it’s great for the heat and it feels feminine but edgy at the same time.

I’m really surprised by how into baseball caps I’ve gotten the last year – I’ve actually amassed quite a collection and I love that they are utilitarian but also very stylish. I lost my beloved Celine cap when I was in Cabo a few months back but I dug out this one from Isabel Marant that I had also splurged on two summers ago. I feel they add a little something extra to a look, cover up a bad hair day and protect your face from the sun so win, win, win!!!

We’re mid way through the last week of summer vacay for my boy so packing in as much fun as we can – went for a hike today, a special dinner tomorrow, and a much needed beach day coming up Friday!
