There’s something about a beach getaway that really inspires me to load up on vacay accessories, maybe its because Im always in swimsuits and simple dresses so it’s ALL about the way you accessorize. I have a little tropical getaway coming up in a couple of months so I’m already planning ahead. I love a good straw tote so I can haul around all my essentials like sunscreen, tinted serum/moisturizer (this one is my obsession year round) and sheer lip gloss with SPF (because you don’t want to look too made up) Ive become addicted to tinted lip balm and I love this one because it has sun protection and its reasonably priced, it comes in several colors so load up. I don’t know about you but I can get lazy about reapplying sunscreen throughout the day – when I have the spray on kind there’s no excuse, it’s so easy. I love La Roche Posay sunscreen spray, I bought some when I was in Italy last summer and it’s so good.
When at the beach or poolside it’s absolutely mandatory to have a hat or two, sometimes three (not at the same time) to keep the sun off your glorious skin. I love a good straw hat not just for style but also breathability, you don’t want your hair to become a sweaty mess. Another must is easy off and on slides, I linked pairs in varying heights to appeal to different comfort zones – I like flat by the pool and sky high for dinner.
