Blue Ruffle Dress, White Boots, Belt & Bag.

I know it’s Valentine’s Day and I should be featuring outfits in shades of pink or red but I’ve never been a traditionalist so here I am in a gorgeous shade of blue! Although it’s not pink this blue ruffle dress still has all the elements for the most romantic of moments: the silky smooth fabric and voluminous ruffles that catch perfectly in a gust of wind will most certainly have you feeling like a Disney princess. And while we’re on the topic of gusts of wind the day this was shot was the windiest day I’ve ever experienced in all my years in Los Angeles. Mother Nature’s wind machine worked well with the dress but keeping my hair looking styled was a challenge so no judging all the flyaways please!

We typically do not like to go out for dinner on Valentines Day I hate the crowds and there’s nothing romantic about sitting in a room with 200 other annoyed couples right? In a last minute change of plans to accommodate a very special photo shoot we do have dinner reservations tonight and “we” includes our little man so family love celebration and  hopefully if the timing works out we’ll be able to catch another sunset since we’ll be dining by the beach. One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to catch more sunsets in an attempt to enjoy and appreciate the simpler things in life!
