As most of you know I am a major lover of wine; crisp, cold Rosé, in particular. It’s a great way to end a long day, a wonderful pairing for a seafood dinner, and the best way to celebrate the holidays with your friends. I have always been a fan of California wines (I am a Cali girl, after all) and my favorite wine region of late has been the central coast. I have had the pleasure of touring some of the fabulous wineries in that region and Day Owl is definitely a one of the best! It checks all the boxes of what I personally look for in a wine: crisp, flavorful and very well-priced!
The holidays are such a fun time to switch up the decor in my house, and this year, I’m finding inspiration from the blush tones from the Day Owl Friendsgiving event and, of course, the wine itself. It’s such a great change from the traditional browns and orange shades of yesteryear. White pumpkins filled with your favorite succulents make a lovely gift for your host and they also make a gorgeous centerpiece. They are so much fun to make and can also be done as a party activity: just load up on potted succulents, mini pumpkins and some decorative moss and you’re good to go…don’t forget to pour your guests a glass of Day Owl Rosé to make the activity even better!
Friendsgiving by definition is a non-traditional celebration, therefore making it a perfect opportunity to get creative with your meals, appetizers and, most importantly, your cocktails! I’ve got some delicious drink ideas that include Day Owl Rosé that are not only super yummy & easy to make but they will also match your decor! You can check out all the great recipes for rosè cocktails at Day Owl’s website. There are options for summer, winter celebrations and everything in between to inspire you to Rosè all year!
Enjoy the holiday season as well as your glass of Day Owl Rose and please do it responsibly!
